Meet Cynthia, a fierce political science graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, Nigeria, who is determined to impact the world positively. She is passionate about influencing sustainable policies that affect women's lives, their participation in government, and ending violence against them. Cynthia's unwavering commitment to gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls is evident in her over three years of volunteering with a mental health organisation. With her eyes set on her dream, Cynthia envisions a world where women can achieve their full potential.

Taiwo Taiwo

2022 Girl Pro of the Year

Taiwo is a practitioner in the field of Human Resources. She is passionate about driving the missions and goals of organisations and achieving this by designing, developing and implementing processes, strategies and standards. Taiwo is committed to becoming a professional in the field and has taken a certification course in Organizational Development. She hopes to work with national and international institutions to contribute to their growth and development while gaining valuable experience.

Owolabi Motunrayo

2022 Most Creative Award

Barakat is an experienced Business Lead Strategist with expertise in supply chain management, sales, and marketing. She aspires to have a career in the Agric-Tech industry and establish a successful business that empowers women and creates job opportunities for youth. Barakat is an ambitious and business-savvy individual with excellent leadership skills. She hopes to transition into a career as an HR analyst.

Sarah Nwankwo

Sarah is a sociology and anthropology student at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She co-hosts a show called "Things Teens Love" (TTL) on Rave TV, aimed at teenagers. She loves reading and finds motivation from the books she reads.

Ufuoma Akpojiyovwi

Ufoma is a student at the University of Benin, pursuing a Health Education degree. She is deeply passionate about expanding her network and connecting with like-minded individuals. Joy has volunteered for various non-governmental organizations, including the Lagos Food Bank Initiative, Leap Africa, Newsmile Alive Foundation, You-Lead Project, and Just the Girls Initiative. Her greatest dream is to positively impact people's lives by educating them on healthy living and increasing the visibility of her business.

Anuoluwa David

Anu is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Ibadan, Oyo State, where she is studying Agricultural Extension and Rural Development. Her ambition is to become a successful entrepreneur and a radio presenter. She plans to pursue a master's degree in Rural Development and Communication, and her short-term goal is to establish bedding outlets where she can create and sell traditional print and tie dye (Adire) beddings.

Joy Onuorah

Joy has worked in various roles, starting as a Health desk intern at New Telegraph. She quickly advanced to become a freelance writer at TheWill Nigeria's Arts and Entertainment desk, first as a Feature Writer and then later as an Entertainment and Lifestyle writer for Vanguard Allure.

Joy has also worked as a remote Research Assistant for an accomplished Art Journalist, Dr. Ekpo Udoma, and as a SEO Content Writer for The Punch Newspaper and Legit.ng, and as a Copywriter for Utiva EdTech. She has written a substantial body of work covering different topics. Joy believes that young people who aspire to excellence in any field should seek guidance and mentorship from experienced professionals who share their interests.

Jumoke is a Pharmacy student at the University of Lagos Akoka, Nigeria. Fascinated by the organization of pharmacies as a child and human interaction, SHE fell in love with the profession.   Her goal is to attain a career where her tech skills could contribute to the healthcare system and this has led her to learn online courses like Sololearn, Code writing using Hyper Text Mark-up Language (HTML) and Python programming language. She is a certified UX designer.

is a task-driven innovative minded and goal-oriented student with a multidisciplinary background in science and technology and has a keen interest in things that brings her closer to nature. 

Sajida has good interpersonal and communication skills and is motivated towards learning new skills and applying them to her personal and academic life. Her dream is to become a role model for young girls in her community.
