Princess Teh Wilson

2023 Leadership Award

Princess is a communication enthusiast who dreams of becoming a Public Relations Specialist. She wants to use communication as a tool to positively impact the world. Her goal is to help clients tell their stories in a way that connects with people, shapes positive public perception, and contributes to the success of their businesses or causes. I'm committed to staying up-to-date with the latest trends and always learning and growing in the field of public relations. She bagged a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration from the United Methodist University Liberia in January 2024.

Tawakalitu Saludeen

2023 Girl Pro of the Year

Tawa was a passionate advocate for women's empowerment and environmental conservation. She had a vision to establish an NGO that would focus on empowering women through leather recycling, while also contributing to environmental preservation. Her bilingual skills in English, Hausa, and Yoruba helped her to connect with people, and she took pride in planning, organizing, and leading with a focus on solutions. Tragically, Tawa passed away in 2023. At the time of her passing, she was pursuing an MSc in Software Engineering while working at an NGO in Bauchi state. She is greatly missed.

Kanyisola Diyan

2023 Most Creative Award

Kanyinsola is a recent graduate of the University of Ibadan, exploring the field of data engineering and analytics. She is a creative problem solver who uses Big data to solve real-time problems and keep organisations at the cutting edge of their industries. She desires to be a data professional, become a thought leader with vibrant industry experience, and help other young female professionals dream big.

Blessing Ejukwa

Blessing is a public speaker, presenter, voice-over artist, content creator, and social media manager from Nigeria. She is also involved in the broadcasting and tech industry. Her dream is to make a positive difference and impact people's lives. She is an alumnus of the University of Calabar, where she studied Linguistics, communication and Broadcast Journalism.

Mary Oluwatobiloba King

Mary is a graduate of international relations and political science from Houdegbe North American University, Benin Republic. She currently lives and works as a teacher and entrepreneur in Lagos state, where she hails from. She is passionate about learning new skills and people development. She spends her spare time volunteering as a communications associate with Girl Pro Africa.

Esohe Izibiri

Esohe is a 22-year-old health education student from Edo state. She is a hardworking individual running two small businesses, a clothing brand and an aesthetic spa. She is passionate about mental health and hopes to help people cope with their emotions and feelings. She is serving as a parliamentarian in the Nigerian Association of Health Safety and Environmental Education student. She is always eager to learn new things and loves meeting new people who share similar goals and aspirations.

Toluwani Oladapo

Tolu is a recent graduate of agricultural economics and extension technology at the Federal University of Technology Minna, Niger state, where she graduated as one of the best students in her department. She signed up for the Girl Pro programme because she believes that a good mentor can guide her to work more efficiently and confidently to achieve her future goals.

Chiamaka Anyanwu

Chiamaka is a Lagos-based Computer Science student with a passion for using technology to make a difference in the world. Her goal is to become a Software Engineer and work on innovative projects that have the potential to change people's lives. She draws inspiration from my parents and women such as Ibukun Awosika, Chimamanda Adichie, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, and Adora Nwodo.

Kezia Belgoe

Kezia is a Ghanian currently residing in Accra. She has a passion for accounting and finance and is pursuing a degree in this field at the University of Professional Studies. Kezia is interested in personal development and looks forward to taking professional courses such as ACCA and ICAG. Her motivation comes from her family background, and she desires to help inspire young girls to achieve their dreams.
