2023 was a year of resilience-building as we recorded an unprecedented request for mental health support from the women we serve. African female undergraduates, especially those in public tertiary institutions, face a unique set of challenges that can significantly impact their mental health. Transitioning to university and post-university life can be especially difficult as they navigate newfound independence, academic demands, and social pressures.
